He hates this hat

Thic picture just cracks me up. He clearly HATES this hat. It was 40 degrees out, so I had to bundle him up. This was the same day he was smiling and being so sweet... but I made him very upset when I put this hat on him. I think he knew he looked like a dork because I couldn't stop laughing at him.

He smiles!

Jantzen started smiling about a week ago. Nanny was able to get the best smiles from him. I haven't been able to get him to smile when I have the camera... until now. And as you can see, I was so excited to get some shots, I chopped off his head. But, he's cute anyway. :)

Oh yea, I almost forgot... he found his hands last week too. Evidently they taste really good!

Jantzen's Christening

Jantzen is very blessed to have so many people who love him. These are pictures from his christening last weekend. His Godparents are Ted Buckley and Anne Goss. Rick's Godfather, Uncle Jorge performed the ceremony, which made it extra special.

Jantzen was less than thrilled at this point... until Anne cheered him up.

Rick and his God-daughter, Maggie Buckley.

4 generations

Jantzen's grandmother (Gigi) and great-grandmother (Nanny) came to visit last week. He loved every minute of it. Rick and I loved it too... we got to sleep in and take naps during the day while Nanny and Gigi played with Jantzen. Everybody wins!

and so it begins...

I promised to start a website after Jantzen was born... and almost 12 weeks later I am finally getting around to it. Here are some recent pictures of Jantzen. He's growing and changing so fast. And surprisingly each day is more fun than the day before.

This is a video from when he was about 4 weeks old and already turning over... and no one in Texas believed us. SO, I had to get evidence online. :)
